How does it work?

Publisher Launchpad is a service that provides honest book reviews to authors and self-publishers.

Typically one of the most challenging aspects of a successful book launch is the work involved in building your ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) team where publishers reach out to their network of friends, new readers, and other influencers in order to secure early interest and feedback for their book.

At Publisher Launchpad we take care of that entire process for you by maintaining an email list of book critics that loves to read. We then send an email to our list and point them to your book when running its free promo days.

From there, our book critics will read your book and give their honest feedback in the form of a verified review, along with a star rating based on what they thought of your book.

Do you guarantee positive reviews?

No, and anyone who does is not being honest with you. We can guarantee that all of our reviews will be 100% honest and from verified book critics who have read and reviewed your book.

The vast majority of the time, these reviews will be positive, but we're unable and unwilling to guarantee 100% positive feedback for everyone's book.

How long does it take for my book to get reviewed?

It can vary, but most of our book critics are able to leave a review within 2-4 weeks from the time they start reading your book. This process can be sped up if you have a re-release version of your book that we can share with our book critics ahead of the launch date.

How do I submit my book for review?

You can submit your book for review by visiting our order page and selecting the package that best suits your need.

Once you have submitted your order, our team of book critics will be lined up in anticipation for your launch.

Is this only for new books?

Not at all! Even if your book has been live for a while, a boost in review numbers can do wonders for your sales and ad conversions.

When should I plan to order my PLP reviews?

As the book critics who will be reviewing your book will be reading it once it goes live, you can order as late as one week before your promo dates, however, as the number of slots we have open at any one time is limited, it's best to place your order and secure your spot as early as possible.

What if I don't receive enough reviews?

In the unlikely event that not enough reviews are posted in the initial period, we can reach out to our email list again to find additional book critics to ensure that the number of reviews match what was originally ordered.

What if I receive more reviews than expected?

This does sometimes happen, but don't worry, we won't charge anything extra!

Do you offer any other services?

Not at this point, but there are some very exciting plans in the works to assist with all of the other aspects of book launches and promotion in the near future!

How long will it take for my reviews to post?

It can take up to 72 hours for a review to post after the book critic has marked it "Complete." however, this will only happen once they have read and honestly reviewed your book, which can take up to 30 days.

What if I want a refund?

You can cancel your order at any time and receive a full refund for orders up to 24 hours before the book promotion starts. As such, we do not offer refunds for any packages that have been started (i.e. the book critics have started reading your book and/or reviews have already been posted).

Can I choose which reviewers receive my book?

Unfortunately, no. The whole point of the program is to get unbiased reviews from a variety of readers, so we send your book out to our email list to see who would like your book.

Do I need to have my book on free promo to order?

At this point, yes. The reason being is that our book critics need to have a method of downloading your book in order to read and review it (and this ensures the reviews are "verified").

Can I order multiple packages for the same book?

At this point, no. We may offer this service in the future, but for now, we recommend only ordering one package per book.

What if I want to order more than 20 reviews?
